St. Petersburg’s Cycle Brewing releasing “two old favorites and a newbie” on November 1st

It’s no secret that St. Petersburg’s Cycle Brewing has a knack for making barrel-aged beers. Owner and brewer Doug Dozark made this fact known during his appearance on the BeerWise podcast and discusses it regularly on the brewery’s social media channels. Eagle-eyed enthusiasts can also spot Cycle’s barrels when the brewery posts videos on social media of Doug moving through Cycle’s production facility.
It was only a matter of time before it was time for a bottle release, and that time is soon.

From Cycle Brewing:

2 old favorites and a newbie!

We’ve got some throwback beers and even some throwback pricing!
All three bottle releases will be available starting Friday, November 1st. These are available in 22 oz bottles.

R1 Rare Dos – This beer has been retired, but Doug must be feeling a little sentimental. R1 is aged for 3 years in @buffalotrace barrels.
DBR – This barrel aged stout has been aged for 3 years in @blantons_bourbon barrels.
CTC – What’s CTC stand for? You get to decide. This barleywine was aged for 3 years in @blantons_bourbon barrels.

These bottles will be available in person and online and in distribution. We’re really working towards getting our beer on shelves near you. Where would you like to see Cycle Brewing?

The news of this release comes after the announcement that Cycle Brewing will no longer be hosting Barrel-Aged Day, and that they are seeking to find distribution partners for their barrel-aged beer.
