In a 2025 trend that is claiming more and more breweries, Coconut Creek’s Rule G Brewing Company has shut their doors permanently.
The brewery opened around March 2024, and after just over a year in business, the doors have been closed permanently.

From Rule G Brewing, April 2025:
End of the Line—For Now
With deep sadness, we announce that Rule G Brewing Co. is pulling into the station for its final stop—at least for now.
Join us for one last ride:
“One for the Road – End of the Line Karaoke Party”
Wednesday, April 16th | 7–10PM
Doors open at 4PM for Hoppy Hour
No kitchen that night, but we’ll be slinging pies from Amici’s Pizza to keep spirits high. Come drink us dry and send us off with song.
We’ve explored every possible track to keep this train moving. But with slowing revenue during the past two quarters, rising production costs, and an increasingly unpredictable customer base, the ride has reached a halt.
This isn’t just our story—it’s happening across the country. In 2024, 399 breweries closed while only 335 opened. The tracks have grown uncertain for many in craft beer, and we are one of them.
But Rule G has always been more than a brewery. It’s been a second home, a place where stories were shared, songs were sung, pups were petted, and memories were made.
To our regulars, new faces, and the pups who brought joy to our days—Murphy, Moose, Benji, our beloved Tut, and our newest boy, Bubba—thank you. You’ve made this more than just a stop. You made it home.
To our peers and allies in the craft beer world—Cove Brewery, Dangerous Minds, the Florida Brewers Guild, and so many more—thank you for riding alongside us. ***Please continue to #SupportYourLocalBrewery. Every pint you buy keeps a dream alive, supports a family, and strengthens your local community.***
Hopefully, we expressed our deepest thanks to all who made Rule G Special.
We’re still holding out hope for a Hail Mary pass to keep Rule G rolling. If you or someone you know is interested in carrying the torch, please DM us. There is still steam left in this engine, but it needs tending through financial means.
We, too, are heartbroken. But we are also full of gratitude. Thank you for riding with us.
—With love and respect,
Ralph and Your Rule G Brewing Co. Family
After their last call event, the owners of Rule G Brewing posted their thoughts, which undoubtedly have gone through the minds of many brewery owners in the past months:
Many thanks to those who joined us Wed., Apr. 16th. As we shared previously, we explored every viable path to keep operations running. Unfortunately, declining revenue over the past two quarters, rising production costs, and an increasingly unpredictable customer base have ultimately brought this journey to a close.
This event drew an incredible turnout — including many new faces and returning patrons we hadn’t seen in quite some time. While we’re deeply grateful for the support, it also gave us pause. As the ONLY craft brewery of our kind in the area, we consistently implemented thoughtful event and marketing strategies shared with us by those in the biz, digital marketers, and various corporate and business finance professionals aimed at enhancing the customer experience. The turnout left us wondering what more could have been done to generate that level of engagement during regular operations.
