In a year rife with brewery closings, brewery changes, and brewery moves, it is an uplifting sign to see a brewery grand open in any part of Florida, let alone in Pinellas County – an area home to many of the state’s historic and innovative brewers.

From Clearwater Brewing Company:
It’s Official.. We are opening!
Come celebrate with us. Enjoy live music, good food, great beer and amazing vibes.
Tell your friends, family and neighbors. Everyone is welcome
This opening marks the second life of Clearwater Brewing Company (CBC). This grand opening will mark new ownership and new life in the brewery. According to a recent article in Business Debut, the brewery is now owned by Hannah and Robert Menard, who also own Reefer’s Social Club on Clearwater Beach. The Menards have partnered with Brian Thompson and Shane Seagle to revitalize the brewery, which was closed by its original owners in August 2023.
CBC has also installed a 10-barrel brewing system and has 45 barrels of fermentation capacity, allowing them to serve their beer at the bar and function as a community hub, with aspirations to produce a line of spirits.

This West Coast IPA features Riverbend Pilsner malt and a classic trio of Simcoe, Centennial, and Cascade hops. It delivers layered notes of pine, citrus, and light resin with a dry, crisp finish.”
